As a new patient at galletly I was not sure what to expect, especially as a pregnant woman with my first child. I found the level of care exceptional, with great care and support for me during my pregnancy and for the following weeks thereafter. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice for anyone. I’ve certainly not had any problems with any doctor or nurse who took my concerns very seriously and were able to give me appropriate help. There also seems to be a fair amount of appointments available, and I was able to be seen quickly if the issue required it. My baby is now registered with this practice, and has been attending appointments for their vaccinations. All of which have been easy to book, hygienic and polite staff with quick hands that help make the experience better overall.

Sometimes more staff for busy hours would be convenient as I feel the reception struggles sometimes at peak times. The car park could be better; but this again, is only something that’s difficult during peak times.

It took ages to get through, had to arrange a call back Which could only be for the same day, the call back was late and wasn’t necessary in my opinion.

Be contactable by text or email for regular and routine blood test results and responses, avoid requiring reviews that aren’t necessary especially when the review is carried out by someone who can’t change the medication anyway. Be aware that patients who are on long term or lifetime treatment or medication may be capable of understanding and making a contribution.
